Hundreds of service-address price checks.
Starting friction: pricing varied by service address, and gathering it manually at useful scale was not practical.
Intervention: I built browser agents that collected competitor pricing across hundreds of addresses while handling lookups, pop-ups, site changes, bot defenses, and edge cases that broke simple scripts.
Result: the work produced a consistent competitive pricing map that informed market strategy. The public account omits the client identity and commercial figures.
The same method can support catalog checks, permit lookups, price monitoring, and other public information that a team would otherwise retype by hand.

About This Work
Why a software engineer started a consulting firm.
I solve hard problems.
I am Christopher. I have spent my career building software, connecting systems, investigating why work gets stuck, and turning technical change into something people can actually use. That kind of work—the kind that requires digging past the obvious answer—is where I do my best thinking.
Most small businesses have hard problems that look small. A factory floor manager or a service business owner knows something is broken, but they don't have a technical operator in-house to fix it. That is the work I show up to do.
Argent Via is based in Northeast Washington. I work on-site across the Inland Northwest and remotely wherever the work allows.
